We love music and, since you’re here, you probably do too. We also love lyrics but whenever we went to look them up online we would constantly get assaulted by flashy advertisements and popup windows. That really sucked. So, we decided to build our own site and leave out all the garbage.

That’s why Lyrics Hog’s pages always load fast. There are no popups, the words are always in the same place and, best of all, you can even print ad-free copies of any page.

So Who Funds Lyrics Hog?

Lyrics Hog is not our retirement fund. That’s why we don’t care so much about having hundreds of ads on every page. It does us cost money, however, for webhosting, domain name registration, and development.

Fortunately, we can offset most of these costs by referring you to well-known online stores that sell CDs, DVDs, and other band-related products.

By clicking one of the store links from within Lyrics Hog, a special referral code gets sent to that merchant. That code says that, if you buy something from their website, Lyrics Hog will be rewarded a small commission of the selling cost (usually around 5%).

So you pay the same price as you normally would, and Lyrics Hog gets a small cut to help out on operating costs. It’s win-win, and you can do it every time you make a purchase.
